We built TweetSolo because private thoughts deserve private software. Here's exactly how that works — in plain English, no tracking, no asterisks.
Last updated · May 28, 2026Local-first. Your thoughts are stored on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac — never on our servers. We don't have servers for your content. There is no TweetSolo cloud holding your text.
If you turn it on, your thoughts sync across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud account. We can't see what's in your iCloud; only you and Apple can. Your data never passes through a TweetSolo server on its way between your devices.
Sync is optional. Turn it off and TweetSolo becomes a fully offline app on whatever device you're using.
On this website. Nothing automatic. No analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no behavior cookies. Your visit here isn't measured or logged.
If you join the waitlist. Just your email address. We hold it until launch, send you one invite, then delete it. Email us anytime if you want it deleted sooner.
In the app (when it ships). Crash reports through Apple's standard system. No usage analytics, no behavior events, no third-party SDKs.
If we ever change how we handle data, we'll update this page and email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect. We won't expand data collection quietly.
